I became an ACE-certified personal trainer in 1997, but my interest in exercise and nutrition has been lifelong. As the mother of three sons, I became even more aware of the role these elements play in building a strong and healthy body. Completing the Wellcoaches® training program for wellness coaching in 2011 rounded out my skills.
I believe that finding physical activities that clients enjoy is the key to developing an exercise program that is sustainable, fun, and successful.
In addition to individual in-home training, my experience includes conducting senior strength and flexibility and pre/post-natal classes for Holy Cross Hospital, individual and small group training at Bethesda Sport & Health, and serving as the personal training sponsor for Maryland's Miss USA and Miss America pageants.
"After my first session with Beth, I was hooked! I've been going to local gyms off and on for years (like everyone else) and suffered from lack of encouragement, motivation and just plain laziness. In just a few sessions with Beth, not only did I see major changes in my body, but also major changes in my attitude towards exercising. Beth is dynamic, creative and extremely motivational. Her exercises help me stay committed to my exercise routine at home. While Beth is not my first trainer, she certainly is going to be my trainer for as long as she'll have me as a client."
"I always look forward to my sessions with Beth; no two are ever the same. She varies the excercises, equipment, and muscle groups we work, not only keeping me interested but also challenging my entire body. She has an endless arsenal of excercises using weights, resistance bands, high intensity interval training, body weight, kickboxing and more. Beth makes working out fun and I am so glad I found her!
